NYC Summer Bucket List 2021

There’s no doubt that this summer will be, for lack of better words, LIT. NYC is fully reopening July 1st and there’s already plenty to do before then. With the weather finally starting to warm up and Memorial Day right around the corner (the unofficial start of summer!), it’s time to start scheming some plans. We’re sure you have oodles of fun adventures lined up - ones you fantasized about in the depths of quarantine. But just in case you’re looking for a few more Big Apple-specific ideas to add to your bucket list this summer, here’s our NYC summer bucket list for  2021!

1. Coney Island
Nauseating rides, all the fried food you can eat, and hot, sticky hordes of people. Can you think of a better way to ring in the post-pandemic world?

2. Visit The Edge
The Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the entire Western Hemisphere...and it’s right in the picturesque Hudson Yards! This summer will be the perfect time to capture NYC’s beauty and blue skies from new heights!

3. Baseball game
Have baseball games ever really just been about the game? NO! It’s about the atmosphere, the peanuts and coke, and the cute pictures in hats and jerseys. Put the Mets and Yankees rivalry aside and just get yourself to the first game you can!

4. Explore Greenpoint, Brooklyn
Greenpoint might be one the most hip, peaceful places in all of NYC. But depending on where you are, it can be a journey to get there (dare I mention the L train). This summer it's time to make the trek there and explore all of Greenpoint's vintage stores, brunch spots, and outdoor movies!

5. Rooftop bars
I mean come on...any rooftop bar, our Cutout Dress , and some great friends. Need we say more?

6. Catch a Sofar Sounds show
We’ve been fans of Sofar Sounds for years now (peep our 2017 blog post), and like everyone else, we’ve felt the void of live music in our lives this past year. So this summer we’re looking forward to the return of these fun, intimate shows!

7. Picnic at The GREEN
Lincoln Center’s new public lawn, The GREEN, has been enchanting New Yorkers near and far since it opened a couple of weeks ago. Can’t you just picture the cutest afternoon there? Get your mini charcuterie boards ready!
