Well, the days of rushing between in-person fashion week shows are currently still on pause. New York Fashion week lived on in an entirely digital format once again…I’m sure no one missed combatting the frosty New York winter weather! Although NYFW is technically over, there are some stragglers (Carolina Herrera, Coach, and Christian Siriano to name a few) who are waiting until this week and into March to show their collections. But the majority of designers have presented already, so you know what that means – it’s time for our review of what we saw gliding down the (digital) catwalk! This time we’re highlighting our favorite looks from NYFW Fall 2021 💃.
Kicking our list off is this immaculately creative look from Adeam. From the styling to the incredible detail of the top, this outfit is clean and classy…with a bit of an edge!

Besides its chic, minimalist layering, this look highlights the trend of the color adobe. A warm, sun-dried clay hue, it’s a color that’ll carry us all through fall!
R13’s whole collection reflects a natural synergy between the messy teen look of 2021 (check out TikTok if you need verification) and the original grungy teen aesthetic of the ’90s. This specific look stood out to us as true modern grunge.
4. Tanya Taylor
Sweater vests will be in like never before this fall! Layered over a long skirt as shown by Jason Wu, Bevza, and PH5, or worn in a more edgy way as seen in this look from Tanya Taylor.
5. Ulla Johnson
Winter white done right! The intricacies of the sweater are truly magnificent – this look takes knitwear to a whole new level.
6. Kim Shui
We love a good miniskirt and knee-high boots moment, but even more impressive was this model’s hairstyling! Sean Bennett, the hairstylist, created braids woven with golden hoops and chains. He even laid the model's edges into little loops to go along with the cylindrical aesthetic!
7. Victor Glemaud
PANTONE 13-0647 is a sunny shade of yellow that radiates strength and positivity. It just so happens to be Pantone’s color of year, which is one of the many reasons we love this cozy, minimalist look from Victor Glemaud!
PH5 is notorious for these eccentric types of hemlines, but this look in particular was just so mesmerizing! The contrasting colors and the sleeved overlay added incredible character on top of the stark hemline.
9. Tia Adeola
Sheer. Opulence. This look is over the top, but timeless and definitely deserves to be showcased on this list! We love the glitter, the feathers, the green eye makeup, and the lavishness of this look.
10. Christian Cowen
The simple black and white palette of this look only emphasizes its showstopping nature. We’ve never seen a black pump work so well! Wow!
11. 3.1 Phillip Lim
So many different textures are featured in this look. Cutouts, flaps on the coat, a pleated skirt, a leather bag…there’s something for everyone!
12. Anna Sui
Anna Sui’s collection was all about escapism and this look screams whimsical fantasy meets cold reality of traversing NYC streets during the winter. The mixed prints play off of each other in a captivating way…and what can go wrong when a fuzzy hat is involved?
